As we bid adieu to 2012, we will recognize and honor deserving individuals and companies for their achievement and contribution to the local economy. - The Innovative Profession/Business award category is to recognize any individual or organization in any industry that is in a “niche” area or employs new ideas and approaches to doing business.
- The Community Relations award category is for any organization in any industry that demonstrates a successful approach to corporate social responsibility and can show a positive impact on the community.
- The Business Entrepreneur award category is for any individual who has started a new business and / or created new jobs in Metro-Detroit.
- Woman Business Entrepreneur award category is for any woman business owner who has started a new business and / or created new jobs in Metro-Detroit
